From the center of Camden the hills seem to rise up directly out of the sea, creating a dramatic view that is even more beautiful when you see it from the top. Camden Hills State Park provides a wide range of trails from moderate to more challenging terrain. The entrance to the park is just three miles from the Inn at Ocean's Edge and it is only from the top of Mount Battie that can you truly appreciate the unique nature of the rugged Maine coastline. Take your time; we are always able to pack a box lunch to take with you.
If you like to get off the beaten path our innkeepers are happy to direct you to Mount Megunticook and Bald Rock, with moderately difficult trails just a few miles from the Inn.
For exercise, pleasure and stunning photo opportunities, the effort is always worth the view in Camden and Lincolnville.
