Camden Garden Tour – July 19
Founded in 1915, today, The Camden Garden Club is the oldest Garden Club in Maine, and its annual garden tour has become so popular that many plan their vacations around it. The club’s goal of preserving and beautifying the public spaces of Camden continues with its current members.
This year, the Garden Club will present the 65rd Annual House and Garden Tour from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on July 19th, 2012, rain or shine. Enjoy a day visiting lovely homes and/or gardens on one of Maine’s oldest and most famous summer tours. Unique views, waterfront properties, and in-town jewels make this tour a must for residents and visitors alike! The theme in this the 65th year will be “Maine Cottages” in their wide variety,houses that wrap their arms around you and feel like home, all are set amidst lovely gardens , many with long views.
