Shuttle offered for PopTech participants
For the second year, we are offering a complimentary shuttle service between the Inn at Ocean’s Edge and downtown Camden (4.5 miles). Please let us know at the time of reservation if you are interested or call today. Space is limited. The shuttle will run from the inn to the Camden Opera House at 8:15am and pick up in Camden for the return trips at 6:30pm and 9:30pm. Private taxi service is available through Schooner Bay Taxi and Limo Company, which, by the way, has a fleet of Toyota Prius cars.
New this year – PopTech is offering a chartered luxury biodiesel bus making a round trip from NYC to Camden for the annual conference. From Poptech.org: “We’ve chartered a luxury biodiesel bus, which is twice as fuel-efficient as taking the train, three times as efficient as driving, and four times as efficient as flying, to bring (up to) 50 PopTech participants (round-trip) from New York City to Camden, Maine for PopTech 2010. The bus will depart on Wednesday, Oct. 20th, and return Sunday, Oct. 24th.”
