Independence Day Weekend

Summer has kicked off with an amazing 4th of July weekend here at Inn at Ocean’s Edge. With Camden just a few miles away everyone is getting ready for the fireworks display scheduled for Sunday night. Supposedly they are doing “Shape” fire works which are fireworks in the shape of things such as boats, flowers, and other things. Sounds like a lot of fun, watching the fireworks over Camden Bay. It will be beautiful.

We expect to be busy at the Edge with such beautiful weather being predicted. Happy Hour at 4pm-6pm and then dinner on the slated terrace or inside until 9pm. Make sure you make a reso since the Inn is almost full and the restaurant will be busy with reservations.

If you have been to Lincolnville Beach lately you surely have noticed that the tourist season is finally here. People lounging, basking, and romping in the water as the big fluffy white clouds pass by.

Here at the Inn people from all over are checking in. A couple from Texas just asked for a great place to eat dinner tonight! “Why The Edge Restaurant of course”, replied our front desk associate J.P. Another group just arrived from Boston and grabbed some of the fresh baked cookies in the Ocean View room before changing to go to the pool. A couple from New York are here for  week celebrating summer and their 20th wedding anniversary.

Smiles, laughter, and cold drinks on the slated terrace is the norm here today at The Inn at Ocean’s Edge.
