In 2010, the Camden Garden Club will present the 63rd Annual House and Garden Tour from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on July 15th, 2010, rain or shine. Enjoy a day visiting lovely homes and/or gardens on one of Maine’s oldest and most famous summer tours. Unique views, waterfront properties, and in-town jewels make this tour a must for residents and visitors alike! This year, the Decorator Show House Tour & Guest Cottage is included in the purchase of the House and Garden Tour ticket. If you’re staying with us, call us for a special package including tickets to the Tour and dinner at The Edge. Camden Conference begins tonight!

Camden Conference

Founded in 1987, the Camden Conference is a nonprofit, non-partisan educational organization whose mission is to foster informed discourse on world affairs.

The 23rd Annual Camden Conference, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India – Crossroads of Conflict, will take place February 19-21, 2010. Most of the activities take place at the beautiful Camden Opera House, located on Elm St. in downtown.

“Maine Fare”: A showcase of Maine’s natural and culinary resources – 9/11-13

Our very own The Edge Restaurant will participate in this year’s Maine Fare – an event held here in Camden, Maine to benefit the Maine Organic Farmers and Growers Association. For a full schedule of events, refer to the Maine Fare website. And enjoy!!

“Maine Fare showcases many events including chef demonstrations, panel discussions, workshops, food and beverage tastings, author signings, and dinners, Maine Fare investigates the history, present and future of Maine’s wonderful food, from farm to table. The goal of the event is to communicate the importance of preserving, protecting, and sharing Maine’s storied culinary history and its rich and developing resources. Maine Fare honors every aspect of our state’s gastronomic profile.

Friday evening, September 11, at the Camden Yacht Club. Wonderful Maine restaurants paired with Maine’s wine makers, distillers and brewers, combining talents to produce a special dinner — and the official start of Maine Fare. Proceeds from this meal benefit MOFGA. Buy tickets here
